Andrew Rhind-Tutt

Andy Rhind-Tutt is one of South Wiltshire's well known business entrepreneurs. Educated at Bishop Wordsworth’s School, Andy embarked on a successful career with Southern Electric from Apprentice to ÌýElectrician, Regional Salesman, Contracts Manager, Company Sales and Marketing Director and finally Operations Director for Hampshire, managing the largest Street Lighting Highways maintenance contract in Britain. He has been self-employed developing and managing a property portfolio and supporting start-up businesses for the past 15 years.

In his last three years at SSE he used his detailed knowledge of highways issues to deliver the first local government/client partnership, removing waste in business and delivering 'more for less' in terms of service for council tax payer. The Hampshire/SSE partnership pioneered a way forward for service contracts that is now very much seen as a standard approach in Highways and Local Authorities.

Andy is the longest serving president of Â鶹¹ú²ú Chamber of Commerce, former Mayor of Amesbury, twice President of Wilton Rotary Club and recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship for his outstanding contribution to charity. He is a founder member of the Stars Appeal committee. Whilst Mayor, he was instrumental in regenerating Amesbury and founded a new Museum in a successful quest to bring footfall from Stonehenge to the local town.Ìý

In his new role as Governor at Â鶹¹ú²ú NHS Trust, Andy is determined to make sure the needs, care and well-being of local people are heard and delivered. He is particularly keen to ensure Â鶹¹ú²ú NHS Trust gets all the support it needs to deliver the best possible outcomes for everyone.
