Arts in health is widely recognised as a valuable asset to the quality of care provided in hospitals. and healthcare settings. ArtCare’s aim is to bring colour and inspiration to the Trust by delivering a quality arts programme. The ArtCare team has more than 25 years of experience delivering visual, participatory and environmental projects at Â鶹¹ú²ú District Hospital, as well as projects in other hospitals and health care settings, including mental health.Â
By car: Enter hospital site site at Entrance B. Park in car park 8 or 10.
By bus: Alight at The Green (first stop).
Follow the road towards the back of the site. Block 29 is by the second zebra crossing on the right hand side.

An annual donation from the hospital’s  allows ArtCare to carry out its core activities. Additional funds are also raised through donations, exhibition sales and grants for other specific projects.
